Carparking reopened!
We’re pleased to let you know that the Red Energy Arena carpark has reopened.
Member’s Carpark reopened
The member’s carpark will remain at the front of the arena for quick and easy access to the venue. We’d like to thank you for your patience during this period.
Safety First
We kindly ask all members and visitors to slow down, follow signage, and take extra care around pedestrians and families.
UPDATE: 10 October 2025
As we continue to improve Red Energy Arena through our exciting redevelopment, we appreciate your patience and understanding while our interim parking solution is in place.
To help everyone arrive and leave safely and smoothly, please keep these important points in mind:
Keep Speed Down – Safety First
Please take extra care and drive slowly at all times. We have traffic control in place on busy evenings to monitor and direct traffic, helping to keep everyone safe.
Drop Off & Pick Up
If you’re attending training or games, we encourage parents to drop children off in a safe place, rather than staying to park – this will help free up space.
Carpool with Other Families
Travelling with teammates or friends is a great way to reduce congestion and make parking easier for everyone.
Arrive Early
Allow extra time to find a park and walk safely to the venue. There will be some delays during busy periods, including most afternoons with multiple sporting activity.
Be Patient
Please be considerate of staff, volunteers, and other members and guests as we work through this temporary phase of our redevelopment.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work towards creating a better experience for everyone at Red Energy Arena.

UPDATE: 3 October 2025
Parking update:
- The BSL Members Carpark has moved just across from the main car park entry, remaining protected and reserved for members only. The upgraded members carpark will return to its original location in mid to late January 2026.
- General car park upgrades will be completed in stages, Stage 1 map is below, which will be in place until mid-November. Starting next week, Monday, October 6th, all parking north of the main entry will be closed off and not accessible through until mid to late January 2026.
- Additional temporary parking will be available from Monday, October 6th, located near the end of the netball courts off the Western Entrance.

Exciting upgrades coming soon to Red Energy Arena
We’re excited to announce that the major redevelopment at Red Energy Arena will commence in September – designed to create a bigger, better, and more inclusive home for sport, entertainment, and our community in Bendigo. This project is being delivered by Development Victoria on behalf of Sport and Recreation Victoria, as part of the Victorian Government’s Regional Sports Infrastructure Program. The works will deliver:
• Two brand-new indoor courts for more local and regional competitions.
• Refurbishment of two existing courts to elevate the experience for athletes and spectators.
• New lighting for outdoor netball courts to make evening games safer and more accessible.
• Sustainability upgrades including solar panels, a back-up generator, and improved utilities.
• Carpark and accessibility improvements to make visiting easier for everyone.
Parking and Access During Construction
While we’re building for the future, there will be some temporary changes to the traffic flow and parking:
- BSL Members carpark will move just across from the main car park entry from Friday 29 August, remaining protected and reserved for members only. The upgraded members carpark will return to its original location in December.
- General carpark upgrades will be completed in stages from early September, and we will keep you updated of the progress.
- Additional temporary parking will be available from early October, located near the end of the netball courts off the Western Entrance.
Business as Usual
Throughout the redevelopment, we’re open as usual – your games, events, dining, and favourite experiences at Red Energy Arena will continue.
We’ll keep you updated every step of the way through our regular communications and via this page. And please drop by our front customer service desk to ask our friendly staff for any further details (open Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm)
