‘Lunch at the Arena’ for Lifeline’s Hello for Hope fundraiser

Hello for Hope week is an annual suicide prevention awareness and fundraising initiative run by Lifeline Central Victoria and Mallee.

On Monday, Red Energy Arena hosted ‘Lunch at the Arena’ to launch the beginning of Lifeline’s week of fundraising activities and events across the Bendigo region.

Through Red Energy Arena’s rebate program, 20% from all meals purchased on the day went to Lifeline.

There was a fantastic turn-out at the event with over 30 people attending ‘Lunch at the Arena’ – a total of $200 was raised for Lifeline Central Victoria and Mallee!

Eve Ritchens, Marketing Manager at Red Energy Arena is looking forward to more partnership opportunities with Lifeline with a hope to gain greater community awareness about their services.

“Many people might think Lifeline is just available in metropolitan areas and we really want more people to know that they can access these services and get the support they need locally too,” says Eve.

“Seeing so many other local businesses jump on board as well is a fantastic outcome for this initiative.”

Other Bendigo businesses who are involved include Pinot and Picasso and Star Cinema. To find out more, visit the Lifeline website.
